Today, the lovely Tess, a female of the species Archimandrita tesselata, gave birth to adorable babies. The exact number is as yet unknown since the babies tend to burrow under the litter, but the visible six I counted were adorable. The female of this species tends to be shorter and a bit wider than the male. The photo is of Tess two weeks before the blessed event.
